Barcel started making innovations in the salty-snacks sector with Papas Adobadas and Chicharrones (spicy potato chips and pork-rinds, respectively) and in 2003, Barcel launched the revolutionary Takis: corn flour fried rolls that reinterpret sparking and well-loved flavors in mexican taste such as: Takis Salsa Brava, the Takis Huakamoles or the Takis Pastor. This industrialization of Mexico’s gastronomy has been characteristic of Grupo Biimbo.
