In addition, and as part of this initiative, the exclusive "Campeonas de Sueños" program for nine countries in the region was announced.
"Campeonas de Sueños" aims to train girls who want to practice this sport and study in some of the selected schools, whose location is close to some of Grupo Bimbo's bakeries in Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Panama, Honduras, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and El Salvador. This plan will be carried out hand in hand with our Good Neighbor project.
Marcela España, VP of Marketing for Grupo Bimbo for Latin America Center, remarked: "This is the first time that Grupo Bimbo is linked to female football. We are very proud of our alliance with the Barcelona Football Club. This is an incredible opportunity to support schools for girls in the region through a social program."
