Expansión magazine has published its 2019 ranking of “The 500 Most Important Companies in Mexico.” Grupo Bimbo appears in the Number 9 slot on the general list.
In the framework of the Tenth Latin American Encounter of Socially Responsible Companies, Grupo Bimbo received the ESR distinction for the seventeenth consecutive year.
Grupo Bimbo, a Mexican company with a 70-year trajectory, received, for the 16th consecutive year, the Empresa Socialmente Responsable distinction granted by the Centro Mexicano para la Filantropía.
Anualmente, la revista Expansión presenta el Ranking de “Las 500 empresas más importantes de México”. Este año, Grupo Bimbo se mantiene en el cuadro de honor al colocarse en el 10º lugar de las empresas más importantes.
Bimbo fue reconocida dentro de las empresas mexicanas que lideran el ranking de fusiones y adquisiciones. La compañía se ubica junto a otras nueve que en conjunto desembolsaron 31 mil 538 millones de dólares.
