Mr. El Koury is the Legal Director of the Financial Oversight and Management Board for Puerto Rico (FOMBPR), an official body created by the U.S. Congress. He holds the positions of Alternate Director of the Board and member of the Corporate Practices Committee of both, Fomento Económico Mexicano, S.A.B. of C.V. and Coca Cola FEMSA, S.A.B. of C.V. He was previously a partner at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.
