Bimbo Interactive Museum (MiBIMBO) officially opens its doors to the public as part of the celebrations for Grupo Bimbo’s 80 years of history.

Located at Isabel La Católica #51, in the Historic Center of Mexico City, the museum occupies the ground floor and mezzanine of an iconic building from the 1960s. The building was remodeled inside and out, has the capacity to receive up to 500 people simultaneously, and spans 3,000 m² of which more than 1,600 m² are exhibition spaces. It will operate from Tuesday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00, and from Saturday to Sunday from 10:00 to 19:00.

MiBIMBO’s museography was led by Sietecolores, a team with more than 30 years of continuous experience, who have successfully developed over 26 national and international projects, including operating the Papalote Children’s Museum for 18 years. Architectural design was carried out by the firm Arditti + RDT Arquitectos.

General admission will cost 100 pesos; a promotion of two or more adults will be 80 pesos per person; school visits 55 pesos; children ages 3 to 12 will pay 60 pesos; people with disabilities and senior citizens 30 pesos; and children under 3 enter for free; international tourists 120 pesos. Tickets may be purchased at the museum’s box office or through the website www.mibimbo.com

The museum offers a journey through Grupo Bimbo’s legacy since 1945, showing how a proudly Mexican company has been able to unite tradition, innovation, and values: from its origins as a local bakery to becoming the largest baking company in the world, with global impact and presence in 39 countries.

Through its 80 interactive, immersive, and mechanical exhibits for all ages, MiBIMBO offers a journey where technology and memory come together to create an educational and transformative experience. Through the exhibits, visitors will learn more about our value chain, from the field to the table.

The museum also pays tribute to Mexican baking traditions, its trades, and its recipes, and invites visitors to participate in various hands-on experiences.

The Bimbo Interactive Museum is also a museum with a cause. Through the Huellas Program, a comprehensive project that will support the conservation of the Mexican black bear—one of the country’s most emblematic endangered species. Through this program, part of the ticket revenue will be directed to high‑impact initiatives, including scientific monitoring, the protection of biological corridors, and the recovery of at‑risk specimens. These actions are carried out in collaboration with institutions such as the Desert Museum, the Chipinque Ecological Park, and the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT).

Additionally, MiBIMBO will promote purpose‑driven entrepreneurship through workshops and conferences, and it will showcase Grupo Bimbo’s progress in electromobility, featuring driving simulators focused on safety and sustainable mobility.

“MiBIMBO is a living space designed to inspire, educate, and connect people with a story that has been built over eight decades. We hope that every visitor who walks through these doors discovers that imagination, innovation, and teamwork can change the world. It is a museum where things can be touched, felt, and experienced, sparking curiosity and the desire to learn,” said Karina Fogel, Director of the Bimbo Interactive Museum.

With this public opening, MiBIMBO is established as a new cultural and educational space in the Historic Center of Mexico City, celebrating the past, present, and future of one of the most beloved companies among Mexican families.
