Daniel Servitje is one of The 100 Latinos Most Committed to Climate Action

For the second year in a row, Sachamama, a non-profit organization that works to promote a clean energy economy and a sustainable lifestyle, recognized Daniel Servitje, CEO of Grupo Bimbo, as one of the "100 Latinos Most Committed to Climate Action". 

In alliance with 10 other institutes and forums in favor of nature, this list includes people engaged in areas of climate activism, communications, environmental rights, sustainable policies, and business impact.

This initiative focuses on connecting Latino influence and the power of the media to discuss the role of the Latino community in the implementation of the Paris Agreement and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. 

At Grupo Bimbo, we have an ambitious new sustainability strategy with which we seek to nourish a better world. To achieve this, we will take action in favor of nature, and we will commit to being a company with Zero Net Carbon Emissions by 2050.

Also on the list are Alexandra Ocasio, Congressman of the 14th District of New York; Diego Luna, actor, producer, and activist; Javier Bardem, actor, and environmentalist; and Alicia Bárcena, Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean.
